The Road From Karachi

By Nadia Arab, Author

This cookery book has some history to it. The book was originally created in the 1980s by my mother and father when they came to the UK and ran a successful Indian cookery school in Portsmouth. They collated all of their recipes into a small book all typed up which was sold in a major book shop. The school then closed and the book was lost. Mum looked for it high and low and just couldn't find her copy. 30 years later it was found through a work colleague recreated and the rest is history.

Khalida and Riaz came to Portsmouth for their honeymoon from Pakistan. They loved it so much that they ran their cookery school.

30 years later – The book was found. Renamed to ‘The Road from Karachi’. The book has just over 50 authentic recipes. QR codes embedded to a YouTube for an interactive feel.

This book also includes an eco friendly bag as well as some proceeds to clean water to India, Africa and Pakistan.
